CAMERA MASTER CLASS: TOP 10 TIPS TO GET MORE SHOTS IN FOCUS
In my camera masterclasses we go through lots of photography tips and practical camera settings as well as a Q&A section at the end and there are always two questions I get asked about in class; both warrant blog posts of their own. They are:
How can I make it [taking photos] fun with the kids?
AND
How can I get more of my shots in focus?

I thought that perhaps this would be more meaningful and heartfelt and at the least we could make some 'stocking filler' style gifts… The whole thing got me thinking: There must be tonnes of creative gift ideas we could make together over the years… So here’s the outcome of my research so far… you can follow the HOW TOs for most of these ideas via my Pinterest Board, though many are self explanatory as they are. And of course the list would not be complete without a few photography related ideas too.
HALF TERM CHRISTMAS CARD CRAFTING (OR NOT)
It's early still, but the shops seem to be full of Christmas decorations and cards already (I thought they usually waited until Halloween was over?)
Anyway, since we've been a family of three, I've come to realise the value in personalised greeting cards, and thank you cards. Read on if you're feeling inspired to do something fun and crafty with the kids, particularly since half term is coming up next week. Would love to see what you make - feel free to post your photos in the comments below, or on my Facebook page.
